E-Rate Application Process Timeline – Dates to Remember

  • Funding Year ’24 –‘25 Opens: Work to identify E-Rate priorities for the funding year (July 1st ‘24– December ‘24)
  • File Form 470: Competitive bidding, school review of bids and selection of E-Rate service providers (October ‘24 – February ‘25)
  • File Form 471: E-rate application window to request discounts. (January ‘25 – March ‘25)
  • E-Rate Review: Begin E-rate application approval process with USAC (March ’25 – June ’25)
